What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect:

- the type of work, your description of the job and your preferred timing
- any photos you choose to upload
We also receive whatever you include when you call, email or message us.
How we use it
We use these details only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a visit if needed, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and manage the work. Where your job involves work carried out by a tradesperson we coordinate, we share only the details they need to do that work.
Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell them.
Who processes it
Enquiries sent through this website are delivered using Formspree, and received in our email account (hosted by IONOS). These services store the data on our behalf.
Postcode checker
If you use the postcode checker, the postcode you type is sent to postcodes.io, a free public postcode lookup service, to find its approximate location. We do not store postcodes entered in the checker.
How long we keep it
TODO: retention period, e.g. enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after 12 months; customer records are kept for as long as needed for accounts and any follow-up work.
